The Agentic Enterprise
An Executive Program in AI-Driven Organizational Change
Autonomous AI agents are moving from demo to core operating capability, and the leaders who can direct that shift will define the next decade of their organizations. The Agentic Enterprise is a self-paced executive program that turns AI hype into a working operating model: how to evaluate the technology, cost it honestly, secure it, govern it, and lead the people through the change. You finish with a board-ready capstone plan for your own organization. This is an original, independently produced Ultra-Good program with no affiliation to or endorsement by any other institution.

What you’ll learn
- Build a shared vocabulary for modern AI so you can tell language models, multimodal systems, retrieval-augmented setups, and autonomous agents apart and know when each earns its keep. You will learn to connect specific AI capabilities to real business problems and to build an honest end-to-end cost model that weighs spend against expected value.
- Develop a decision-maker's map of the agentic AI platform and framework landscape and learn to match a platform to sector-specific needs and constraints. You will weigh open-source against proprietary trade-offs in context and get hands-on taking an idea from prompt to a deployable landing-page mock-up, then package it as a plain-language workflow proposal.
- Learn the integration patterns that connect an agent to the tools, APIs, and data already running your business, and how to spot the workflow where an agent would genuinely cut cost, time, or friction. You will practice writing a structured internal use-case proposal and designing an integration approach with clear-eyed treatment of risk, ethics, and success metrics.
- Apply the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 functions to AI systems specifically and learn to find the gaps in access control, monitoring, incident response, and recovery that agentic workflows introduce. You will build a structured AI risk and security plan and reckon with agent-specific threats like prompt injection, agent-to-agent manipulation, and cascading failure.
- Learn to frame organizational context and baseline a current workflow before you propose anything, so improvement can actually be measured. You will match AI technology to real capability needs across business functions, weigh single-agent, multi-agent, and human-in-the-loop architectures, and judge where automation creates the most value and where it doesn't.
- Understand why most AI pilots stall before production and what the organizational last mile actually demands. You will learn to write three to five measurable KPIs that test whether a system is delivering its intended business outcome, sanity-check that those KPIs align with real goals, and summarize a system clearly enough for a non-technical stakeholder to sign off.
- Learn to map GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA obligations onto specific AI use cases and to analyze compliance and operational risk together. You will study testing strategies from sandboxing to A/B tests and pre-release safety checks, apply a risk-speed framework to decide how fast to move, and assemble a comprehensive governance plan, tested against a regulated-industry scenario.
- Bring the program together: how AI creates real value when integrated strategically rather than bolted on, how to judge whether a technology fits a use case, and how to weigh cost, security, and operations as one decision. You will use a structured framework for ethical risk and the human factors behind adoption to build and present your capstone.
